For my monthly Lifestyle Crafts project I will show you how to make

red, white & blue confetti pops & baggies.

Supplies Needed

Evolution

Genius Platform

Round Punch Die

Crepe Paper

Push Pops and/or Glassine bags

Ruler

Embellishments

 

First I wrapped the crepe paper around a ruler 10 times

 

I then placed the folded crepe paper on the punch die, and ran through the evolution

 

This is what it will look like

The crepe paper will get “smushed” together so you will need to pull the layers apart.

 

Fill glassine bags and/or push pop containers & decorate with embellishments.

 

Don’t limit your self to just red, white, & blue! Use a rainbow of colors for all occasions. Push pop containers can be used over and over. I purchased my crepe paper at my local dollar store 2 rolls for $1 cheap cheap fun…

lemonade:

I get lemons almost everyday! Falling off my tree that is.

I have an old lemon tree in my backyard that has lemons year round.  My routine the past couple of years has been, just collect the lemons that fall of he tree. Sometimes I have so many I have to give them away. Sometimes I just get one every other day. As soon as I have about 6 I squeeze them and freeze the juice in a zip lock bag. I always freeze 2 cups of juice. That way when I plan on making lemonade I have the exact amount for my recipe. I have had this recipe for about 12 years now. I first came across it at a creative memories crop. When I am asked to share a recipe this is the one I turn to.

 

I love the part where I freeze the juice. It’s like concentrate but without all the sugar.  

When I make it this way I simply let the bag sit on the counter for a few minuets to thaw, while a make the simple syrup. I then place the frozen juice in the pitcher I am gonna use. Pour the simple syrup over the frozen juice, and add the 5 cups of water. Foe another variation I freeze fruit that I can’t finish, like strawberries in a zip lock bag, when I make the lemonade I add them as ice cubes. They eventually thaw out and you get a strawberry lemonade! You can also just add a bag of frozen fruit from the store.
