I was so extremely excited to contribute a layout over on Shimelle’s blog
The assignment I choose was “to mix old & new stash” and the theme was “childhood”
Well this was right up my alley. I have stepped outside of my comfort zone lately and been using my stash {my way of justifying all the new product I have purchased lately}. I also have been adding a ton of product to my pages {that’s right I have stepped away from by white space layouts, & I am loving it!}.
Here’s what I said on Shimelle’s blog:
I am so excited to be sharing my layout here today on Shimelle’s blog
I have always loved to mix and matching product, but just recently have I been able to use up my stash! I normally am a white space scrapper using very little product. Lately seeing a little bit of everything {product/stash} on a page makes me really happy. I used lots of different product for this layout that represents/reminds me of my childhood
I used Shimelle’s True Stories Collection as my main product focus, but I love how it mixes with so many other products, and collections.
For this layout I used:
- Shimelle True Stories 6x6 paper pad
- Shimelle Acrylic Shapes
- Shimelle Wood Border
- Shimelle Wood Veneer
- Shimelle Dimensional Stickers
- Shimelle Tinsel bows
- Shimelle Cork Stickers
- Thickers Marquee
- Thickers Woodland
- Pink Fresh Studio, Happy Place, Puffy Stickers & Rubber Charms
- Colorcast Designs Big Word
- Turquoise Avenue Cork Stickers
- Pink Paislee Cedar Avenue Puffy Stickers
